A blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Aromas of blackberries and blueberries with a note of fresh coriander. Layers of complexity unfolds on the palate with silky tannins. Exceptional balance, beautifully structured with hints of chocolate.

Matching with food:

   Beef, Lamb, Spicy food, Poultry, Pork, Game (deer, venison), Mild and soft cheese. Tip: Serve with slow braised Karoo Lamb Shoulder and herbs, classic Potato Fondant and glazed Carrots.

Vintage: 2014
VINIFICATION:
Ageing: Matured for 22 months in 225 litre new French oak barrels.
Grape Harvest: The grapes were hand-picked from early February to end March 2014 with an average yield of 8 ton per hectare.
Vinification: Fermented in wooden vats and stainless steel tanks. 5% of the juice was barrel fermented to preserve the fruit flavours of the berries. 16 to 20 days skin contact resulted in excellent colour, concentration, aroma and flavour compounds.
